About

Ordinary Audio is a small plugin company for producers who would rather be finishing songs than building effects chains.

Why we exist

Every producer has a list of jobs they know how to do but dread: the riser before the chorus, the transition that has to land exactly on the word. They take an afternoon, and they pull you out of the song.

We take those jobs one at a time and turn each into a single move.

Ordinary Riser is the first. It listens to your vocal and builds a riser that swells exactly into the first word — the way you’d do it by hand, minus the afternoon.

Ordinary Align is the second. It lines a double up with the lead, syllable by syllable — the job that used to mean an hour of slicing and nudging per chorus.

01

Finish the job.

A plugin should take one task off your plate completely — not hand you forty knobs and a manual so you can finish it yourself.

02

Calm is a feature.

Big controls, honest labels, nothing hidden three menus deep. If it needs a tutorial, we haven’t finished designing it.

03

Your session comes first.

Results land in your DAW as regular audio. No lock-in, no proprietary formats, nothing to bounce.

04

Learn one, know them all.

Every plugin shares one design language: the same materials, the same controls, the same places for things.

One design language

A dark body, a bright screen, one tone.

Our plugins are built like objects: a quiet chassis you reach for, and a screen that shows you what’s happening. Each mode gets a tone of its own, so you always know where you are.
